It’s exciting times in denim fashion as there’s such a variety of looks available. These are our five favourite and we feel, easiest to wear.
Firstly there’s the flare and we have two great choices from Paige with the Genevieve style, available in black willow and golden years and brushed willow corduroy. They’re a great fit, you may need them altered in the length but they look fabulous with a blouse and give the perfect seventies nod to your look. Then if you fancy going for a wider flare, try the Frame Palazzo dark chocolate cord or black film noir which are incredibly wide and dramatic and you’ll really make a statement with these. Obviously both styles of flare look best with some sort of heel, be it a kitten heel or higher.
The second trend that’s going on is a wider leg jean and we’re offering two choices from Paige – the Luna or the Harper in a true denim. Both are fabulous, the Harper is slightly wider silhouette with a 30 inch leg. Both look great with trainers or a heel.
The third trend from Frame is a cropped mini boot raw hem flare and you really can’t go wrong with the washed grey Kerry. It has a raw edge hem which gives it a mix of casual and trend. We totally recommend this to all our customers. You’ll need to up a size as it’s a neat fit.
The fourth trend is a straight leg jean from Paige called the Cindy and it’s available in four different options – a great washed grey in a raw hem, a velvet with a twisted hem and a slit at the front which looks great with a heel, a (coated black fog luxe) which looks like leather, or finally a matt black (black shadow) which is a classic and you could get away with for work. As people are moving away from skinny jeans, this is a great option because it’s a straight leg.
The fifth trend is a denim jogger, but don’t let the name put you off. It’s a very wearable combination of a cargo and slimmed down jogging pant and is our number one denim trend of the season. We like the Mayslie Jogger from Paige so much we offer it in many finishes, from velvet to coated to a matte black to navy and khaki . You name it we’ve got it. We recommend you go down a size.
In summary, all of these look great with our fabulous blouses from the likes of Ba&sh, Dea Kudibal and Munthe, or our knitwear from 360 Cashmere, Des Petits Hauts or Essentiel Antwerp.
