Three key leather looks this season

30 August 2023

Leather is a timeless classic - it never goes out of style. From the ‘Perfector’ leather jacket worn by Marlon Brando in the 1950s film, The Wild One, to the rise of the leather trouser in the 80s and 90s, leather clothing has been with us for a long time. And, although styles have slightly changed, leather jackets and trousers are still favourites, and are now added to a larger collection of items that includes leather skirts, tops and shorts.

Take a look at our pick of the best leather items for this season.

Tiana leather skirt by Cefinn

The Tiana leather skirt by Cefinn is made of a buttery-soft leather in a sleek style. The flattering leather panels and a choice of colours (classic black or bold red) will make this one of the most versatile items in your wardrobe. Pair it with a crisp white shirt and heel for a stunning office look, or with trainers and a tee-shirt for a more casual outing.

Seattle leather jacket by MDK

MDK knows how to do leather and the classic Seattle leather jacket is proof of that. The asymmetric zip easily complements silver button and zipper pockets that give this jacket a really cool look. And the lapels - which can be left open or zipped up right to the top - give you flexibility in your look.

The Seattle can be worn year-round, but for the cooler months, go a size up if you want to wear it over a chunky knit. We love this item paired with a flowing girly skirt and some chunky leather boots to add some delicious contrast.

We also stock several other leather jackets by MDK, so if this one’s not to your taste, be sure to check out the Rucy and the Seattle new thin
