Puffer Coat Winter Style

October 2021

Puffer coat season is soon upon us.  If you haven't already got one then some good choices are the Tommy puffer from Day Birger at Mikkelsen as it is just the right side of fashion and practical. With its shiny black exterior, thumb holes and functional front zip...what's not to like?!

I also rate the Edward short puffer which is also from Day Birger at Mikkelsen with it's striking yellow lining and pull cord waist and dark green khaki exterior; it's the right side of stylish but at the same time manages to be a highly practical and super warm coat.

The Belgium brand Essential Antwerp have also managed to pull it out the bag with their two fully reversible puffer styles this season. Do you prefer the short or the long style? The longer Alexander puffer finishes below the knee and the shorter Abrasion style is shorter and more like a bomber shape with a detachable hood. Both are available in 2 fabulous fun colours: teal green and pink. Which one do you prefer?

As always the Swedish coat brand Stand Studio produce fabulous puffer coats and they have again topped the style charts with their Sue puffer style which is available in black and army green. The Ally coat in shiny black is bang on trend and will keep you super warm this winter.

Stine Goya has gone all out with their Oak padded coat in an abstract leaf print which combines yellow, black, orange and brown in its stand out print on a white base. You will stand out from the crowd in this puffer style as it has a nod to 80's fashion. If you prefer though, there is a gilet version called the Leonor.

Happy puffer coat winter style shopping.
