With the new year comes stunning new pieces to refresh our wardrobe. We were so excited to begin 2024 by unpacking some beautiful new curated pieces from French brand, ba&sh. Their chic Parisian style is relaxed and elegant all in one, and perfect for “new year, new you”.
This paisley print characterises much of ba&sh’s newest clothing, and we’re absolutely in love with it. The bohemian feel of the Roane dress is casual without losing any of the class that you would expect to see in items inspired by the great fashion hub that is Paris. A dropped waist and ruffled details at the neck, hems and shoulders are delicately feminine and the midi length is ideal for pairing with your favourite knee-high black boots.
If you love the paisley pattern, but it’s too much for you in a full dress, then take a look at the Rita skirt as an alternative. Super flattering thank to the bias binding around the waist, it’s topped off with some lovely Chantilly lace around the hem. Knee-high boots work as well with this as they do with the Roane dress, and we adore it with a chunky roll-kneck jumper for a perfect wintery look. We’ll be wearing this throughout the year, and just changing up the top!
Our final ba&sh piece in the paisley is the Ruiz shirt - and what a piece it is! Romantically cut with a ribbon-tied v-neck, it will elevate any outfit. Whether you’re at work, around and about during the day, or out in the evening, this piece will fit in marvellously. With a ruffled collar, plus gathered sleeves, this floaty and feminine top from ba&sh is as practical as it is beautiful. Wear it tucked into a pair of Leenah jeans from Paige for an elevated casual look.
Warm knits have been all the rage this winter, so the new-in-stock Gaston cardigan is bound to be popular. Sparkly gold thread woven amongst the knit adds a subtle glimmer, which, along with the chunky gold buttons, really makes this piece stand out. It’s well designed to add an extra layer to your outfit, and goes particularly well with a girly shirt or leather trousers, like our favourites, the Iris from MDK.
