Little jackets are a strong trend this Spring Summer 2024 season and are a great way to bring interest to your look as they are often textured so they look great when you pair them with white or blue denim. We have some great choices from Paige and Frame denim like the white Anessa jean or the wider leg Harper jean styles from Paige and Le Orginal style from Frame.
Sacrecoeur is a stunning new Parisian brand we are excited to be stocking this season and they have perfected their "little jacket"style called Daria (cream, blue and multicoloured). They are such an easy "throw-on" style with subtle metallic thread woven into them (metallic really elevates a garment). Daria is the perfect investment piece this season and can be worn in a casual or dressy way depending on the occasion and the footwear and accessories you pair with them. But most will look great!
Throw the Diara on with an on-trend maxi denim skirt from the cool girl Danish brand Baum und Pferdgarten or a straight or wide jean, or a smart tailored trouser for work. But, this style is also perfect paired with a midi dress and skirt. ...oh so versatile. Underneath, you can pair it with a neat cashmere jumper from British brand jumper1234, or the gorgeous silk cami top called Octavie from Dea Kudibal, or a plain cotton vest top from Day Birger et Mikkelsen or perhaps an easy scoop neck Katie t-shirt from American brand Velvet by Graham and Spencer.
Accessorise with a Bellerose summer bag, and some statement earrings from the Dutch jewellery brand Mimi et Toi.
If you are looking for more of a knitted jacket, then look no further than the style Figer from Essentiel Antwerp this season. This slightly over sized style with its striking animal print is so eye catching and so easy to wear and looks best with denim.
Personally, the jacket I have been wearing since January is the "Mirache" sleeveless jacket from under the radar Scandi brand Munthe as it seems to be the perfect spring weight to throw on over knits and blouses. With its chunky front zip and double neck fastening, it is so versatile and a brilliant neural so I'm finding it a great addition to my Spring wardrobe.
