Danish Must-Have Fashion for Spring

The newest Danish spring fashion is here and we just can’t wait to share it with you. Two of our favourite brands - Munthe and Dea Kudibal - are back with a beautiful selection of carefully curated pieces that will see you through spring and into summer. Which is your favourite?

These outfits are very versatile and could be worn to Wimbledon, the office, dinner with friends, weddings, the Chelsea Flower Show… Your options are endless!

Munthe

Inspired by plants grown in Naja Munthe’s greenhouse and garden, these gorgeous items from Munthe are full of nature prints, embroidery, and floral patterns. So as not to overwhelm the eye, Munthe has taken semi-plain pieces and added a twist with a flourish here and an embellishment there.

Fridoline

The beautifully feminine Fridoline blouse comes in ivory and - the “IT” colour of the season - red. Made of 100% organic cotton, it has a long sleeve, frill pelmet details and an absolutely gorgeous floral appliqué. Wear it now with a pair of Paige jeans: the Sasha or the Anessa raw hem look particularly good.

Fronia dress

This midi-length city day dress will see you through spring and summer in a breeze. With an all-over floral appliqué and stitching, it’s a really elegant piece with a sprinkle of whimsy. There are pockets - which we know you’ll love - and a fitted chest and waist. The Fronia dress comes in black or red and runs small in the waist and bust, so we recommend going up a size.

Fabert trousers

Munthe’s Fabert trousers are real eye-catchers. Made of 100% silk, the navy colour pops with the addition of a fabulous tumble of flowers all the way down the side of both legs. Wear them with a matching top for a fully coordinated look. There are two options: the Faiza blouse or the short-sleeved Fahsai top.

Jikolaz top

The Danes do cool and casual really well, and nowhere is this more evident than with the best-selling Jikolaz Bretton t-shirt. With new colours for spring, this relaxed-fit top is a striped design in red and white or black and white. With a relaxed fit, a short puff sleeve, and a round neck, this is a great laid-back piece for the season.

Dea Kudibal

Dea Kudibal’s spring collection is influenced by Charleston Farmhouse in Lewes, the modernist home of artists Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant. It makes use of a lot of beautifully complex floral patterns, as well as elegant silks.

RosettaDEA dress

This cotton dress is ideal as the days get warmer, but can also be worn on temperamental cool spring days with the addition of a long boot, cardi and jacket. The RosettaDEA has a striking pattern: a mismatched tonal print called “artistic blush” with pretty button details and long bishop sleeves.

ElinaDEA dress

Pretty yet elegant, the ElinaDEA dress comes in two fabulous colour patterns: an earthy spice and the pink-forward treasure. The full-length dress is a lightweight cotton voile with delicate lace details, voluminous sleeves, and a tiered skirt: very cottage-core. Wear it through spring with BA&SH’s cowboy boots and a chunky knitted jumper.

MargoDEA trouser and OctavieDEA cami top

The MargoDEA and OctavieDEA combination is a real winner. Dress yourself from head to toe in graceful silk for an easy-to-wear outfit that is just the thing for a trip abroad. The wide leg of the trousers is super contemporary, while the cami can be worn with layers such as the Nilla knit in cream. This season, we particularly love the optical blue and the bell blush paisley. This outfit looks amazing with a classy heel.
