New season denim and jumpsuits from Paige

January 2022

Paige Mayslie Joggers

A great way to kick off the season is with a new pair of Paige Mayslie joggers. We have an array of the original in ivy green that never fails to deliver a great casual look. The khaki goes with most things and should be used as a neutral and paired with 360 Cashmere and an MDK leather jacket and Veja trainers.

If you already have the ivy green, then why not try the black Mayslie joggers, which are always a best selling style for us. They can be worn out to dinner or paired with your Veja trainers and an Essentiel Antwerp top. Really easy!

If you don’t have this style in your wardrobe, I would highly recommend you think about buying it!

As a general rule, a way to update your style is to update your trousers, and this slightly cropped jogger with a hem side zip instantly modernises your day-to-night look. Personally, I have four pairs and can vouch for them. I wear them multiple times a week, from the school pickup to meeting friends for a drink. You can wear them with a pretty blouse from ba&shMunthe or Hofmann Copenhagen, a Stand Studio puffer, and multiple types of footwear. Whatever your pairing, you’ll look bang on trend and feel comfy (which is a must if you want to feel great about yourself).

To finish off your look, style them with some Caroline Svedbom Swarovski crystal earrings and an Essentiel Antwerp belt. And off you go.

Jumpsuits

We’re all a fan of jumpsuits as, like a dress, they’re an outfit in one! You can just throw them on with pretty much any footwear and jacket and off you go. Someone else who is a fan of them is Instagram influencer Kat Farmer. She has been kind enough to shout out about our Paige Jeans jumpsuits over the last few months as she really rates them too.

A great style if you were to purchase your first jumpsuit would be the Mayslie jumpsuit in ivy green or black. The black is obviously smarter and can be worn in the evenings, whereas the khaki is a much more casual look. The ivy green can be seen on the likes of Jenny Falconer from Heart FM who is also a big fan.

These women are well known for being tall, but I’m 5’2 and can still wear the Mayslie jumpsuit. If you have a good tailor they can alter the length and the zip at the bottom of the hem. So don’t let this put you off.

If you’re looking for a wider leg and long sleeves, then the Anessa long sleeve jumpsuit in Paige is a winner. It comes in washed black with silver metal buttons and has a lovely V so really suits you if you have a larger bust. There’s also a definite 70s vibe! This is a great all-round piece like its sister style, the Mayslie jumpsuit.

For a classic blue denim jumpsuit look no further than the Anessa jumpsuit in jilena. This looks great on longer bodies or on those who are tall, as it has a longer body length.

All in all, though, if you’re diving into the jumpsuit world for the first time, definitely consider the Mayslie jumpsuit as a starting place.

Styling Your Jumpsuit

In terms of styling, throw these jumpsuits on with a MDK Seattle new thin leather jacket in black, Caroline Svedbom earring and a Veja trainer for a great day look. Swap to a kitten mule heel and a clutch bag for the evening and off you go.

As Kat farmer says:

Having a wardrobe of wearable basics is the ideal building block for being able to create lots of different looks without buying lots of different items.

So jumpsuits are great wardrobe staples and you’ll keep going back to them time and time again.

Jeans

More and more ladies are asking for a straight leg or a relaxed boyfriend style jean. If you’re looking to update your denim then I would consider the Cindy Jean Mel shape in blue denim, or the slightly wider Anessa with a raw hem in blaine. This one’s great because you can be any height and it’ll suit you. It’s a wider leg jean that was really popular last summer and they’ve reintroduced it again.

Another alternative is the Carly in a beautiful dark royal blue denim with a drawstring. Or, if you’re looking for a traditional, relaxed, but not too baggy boyfriend style, go for the Brigitte jean in roam blue. Pair it with simple Velvet by Graham and Spencer t-shirts for a crisp look and throw over a Jumper1234 cashmere or Des Petits Hauts knit for warmth. Finish things off with Veja trainers and Une a Une hoop earrings.

For a smarter look, wear with heels, a clutch bag, Caroline Svedbom earrings, a Dea Kudibal or Essentiel Antwerp blouse and the Hector blazer in black from Day Birger.

Do you prefer a skinny style? The Hoxton ultra skinny jean in mona dark blue is perfect.
